Our Story
Sri Sundaram Mills was founded in the year of 1947 by Mr. V.SUNDARAM MUDALIYAR, with the expertise in Weaving. We pioneered ourselves as Greige Fabric supplier in the Kumaramangalam district of ERODE Tamilnadu, India.We expanded our business in offering dyed cotton cashmet fabrics in year 1989.Because of continous efforts and focus of sustanabilty in business our aim of Grey fabrics switched over to dyed cotton fabrics
In 1995 we started trading as fabric supplier coarse to fine poplin fabrics expanding market areas in Tamilnadu, South karnataka, Andrapradesh and Kerala. As contiounus striving effort by Mr.S.Vijayakumar in year 2009, we established our own fabric dyeing unit for richer and brighter fabric dyeing. Fabric Finishing division was established in 2018 to complement our dyeing services.
Dyeing capaciy expansion took place in year 2019 started Colour tex Process for HTHP DYEING services.

Mr.S.Vijayakumar the Chairman of AVR Group has over 39 years of experience in the Textile Industry. His Innovative thoughts on Human Resources and Business Planning have made SUNDARAM MILLS a trend setter in the Industry. He monitors the Projects, HR and Production activities. As a Lionee, he has sponsored several Welfare Projects. He is also a Trustee in Sengunthar Foundation, Sengunthar Kalvi Kalagam and Mandapam runs schools and charities

Mr. Rajkumar V is the new generation entrant steering the development of niche products, in fabric sectors. He is responsible for new product development fabrics, which are in demand globally and is exploring diversification for the company to take it to the next level of growth.
